1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering online or at a brick and mortar betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are beaten. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.
When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this concept almost never ever works. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll put aside prior to starting your action. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how captivating. If you happen to win, put that in a different canister. Don’t spend your winnings no matter what. Once you have played through your primary set limit, call it a day. Leave, regardless if it is online or at a land based casino, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Remember, betting is supposed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, don’t even start.
